Dana has the experience needed to interpret any script you supply with agile ability adapting to any mood, style or subject desired. Her professional background in international business, politics and the tourism industry, along with 30 years of speaking French, has given her a vast understanding of different cultures, habits and trends needed to effectively produce the quality of recording you seek.
In 1989, Dana’s voice-over career started unofficially as the head of the Los Angeles French Embassy’s telephone and translation service. She continued to work closely with other governmental agencies providing voice-over and translations for travel videos, conducting seminars, and guiding press tours for the French Government Tourist Office. Dana also owned and managed Antique Expeditions en Provence, exclusive antiquing and culinary tours in the South of France and has co-produced a few travel documentaries in France using her “hands on” philosophy in pre- and post-production, host, voice-overs and final marketing.
When listening to her demo recordings you will note Dana’s upbeat, commanding and comforting voices. Dana is at ease in your studio or in her Pro Tools equipped home studios in Los Angeles. Many directors have commented on her strength and relaxed demeanor whilst recording. She smiles in any situation.
